I did 5/10 placements for damage role on competitive however I extremely unhappy with the predicted rank as it low and unchanged across 5 loses. I will not complete my placements for this season since those loses are not my fault. It would be an embarrassment to have that rank on my profile. What happens when placement matches carry over into the next season? Fresh restart? I have never skipped placements or placed lower so I don’t know what happens if you give up.
Placements gets refreshed but you keep whatever mmr you have now, unless there is a rank reset.
