remember when they buffed junkrat in season 6 and everyone wanted to main him then after like season 8 all the junk mains just disappeared and only the ones who were playing him before season 6 are still playing him, what happened to all those guys?

They found more reliable heroes idk. I stopped enjoying Junkrat when they nerfed the projectile size. I used to love playing him in Season 2.

Clearly the recent Sombra buff hacking away their mines did it xD
No for real it was the fall-off on mines + nade hitbox nerf. It took away a lot of the free kills.

Here I am! I started playing in season 6, but avoided Junkrat because OP heroes are gross. I love Junkrat, but not lately. Now a lot of my heroes are frustrating instead of fun.
junkrat is still my favorite hero and was even before they buffed him idk why everyone just stopped

The number one and only Junkrat main still here and rockin Rat since inception.
No matter the nerf I’m still gonna main this freakshow until this game is deemed unprofitable and gets taken offline.

You know what I mean. Free kills = mine. Yes now with nade so bad you can hardly aim a direct anymore the nade kills tend to be more random.

Alhonesty, thinking about giving up on Junkrat. My Damage heroes interest are in Mei and Sombra now.
Played Junkrat since the when Overwatch came out.
Fair enough, but you’ve got to admit that the nerfs to Junkrat have done a lot more to his consistency and skill ceiling than to how unfair he can be/seem.

If you mean it’s much harder to play Junkrat well now, then heck yeah. The terrible Rat that I am, I miss my roll-out on Anubis defence into the mega room from spawn half the time now because I flub the conc jump due to the reduced range. And half the time I feel like I should’ve landed a direct on a target point blank in my face nothing happens.
Of course, playing Ye Olde Spamrat hasn’t changed all that much (other than the number of kills). You just spam good angles and pray as always.

It’s almost like people prefer to play strong heroes that work in the meta.
Junkrat is dumpster tier in any meta where the dominant DPS are Snipers.

Junkrat is anything but useless!! He is still hands down the best DPS to play, is a menace to shields, is Bridgettes only well known counter, and is a spectacular aerial monster!! Also is now an amazing Hammond counter thanks to his traps!
I have been playing nothing but Junkrat since the Year of the Dog the day I started playing for the very first time. Since then with a couple exceptions I have mained Rat cause of his simplistic yet deep utility.
His traps are deceptively broken as you can chuck them at anyones face and hold them down for a quick fragging. Being able to mine to the sky and power dive on top of an enemy is just a thrill especially to Hanzos and Widows
Tanks just straight up don’t stand a chance against Rat providing you take an aggressive approach. Just get all up in their face healer by your side and blow them all over the place, cause as much chaos and confusion as possible and take enemies out while their trying to collect their bearings!
Even with all of Rats awful awful nerfs aka the Frag Radius reduction and Slowed Rip Tire he is still a beast and is hands down the most underrated hero gameplay wise.
I know everyone’s game play experience will vary but I am over 200+ hours into this rodent and I have received 0 complaints. Snipers are no trouble, tanks tremble in fear, healers flee from the tire, and maggots like Tracer, Mcree, Mei, Bridgette, and Reaper just can’t match the speed and power of a couple good mine tosses and a frag to the face.

If you don’t think Snipers are trouble, then you’re not playing against good enough Snipers.
Junkrat is still a force to be reckoned with at lower ranks or in unorganized play, I personally don’t think his nerfs hit him THAT hard (though they absolutely suck), but Junkrat is never going to thrive in a meta where he, or his RIP-Tire are consistently dying before they close the gap.
He’ll probably get a ton better when the Sniper and Support nerfs go through.
You sound like you’re on console or in low SR. We’re not crazy… we just play the game at a level where things play out significantly differently.
Also no need to sling mud. FYI, I’ve been banned here for much less than that.

The crazy comment was aimed at the the people who claim Junkrat is useless. Any hero can be incredibly useful if you know what your doing.
I’ve been in matches with golds and plats and they would get all whiny when they get their butts handed to them by a lowly 2 star bronze Rat 
may not always win matches but I put up a dang good fight
