Wasn’t there going to be a recolor of the luchador reaper and mercy royal knight skins?? Or was it another mercy skin?? I can’t remember anymore…

Maybe they rethunk the idea when they realized that one of the recolors for the black/gold reaper skin would be a…black/gold…Seoul…skin

i wonder how we will get our hands on these?? I don’t keep up with overwatch league stuff so i have no clue if this has been talked about like at all yet? Because it seems like no official post have been made.
Do we already know what team colors the skin will have?? Because yeah it would be a total letdown if it’s almost the same colors…But what about the mercy skin tho?

It was supposed to be the winners of the tournament would get the recolors….one was Seoul…and the other was gladiators I believe (purple)

It’s so annoying when stuff like this doesn’t get talked about to confirm if it’s gonna happen or not, but it’s just the same with stuff in the actual game and not just owl content…They should literally start opening their mouths and talk about it.
Sure i might not be THAT interested in the recolors (many mercy honestly…) but it would be nice if they could come out with a statement saying that it’s happening OR not…
Mercy btw would also be purple (if memory serves)….only one winner for that tournament

They might do a collection for each of the tournament winner skins at the end of the year before the final or after its finished. That would make the most sense.
Otherwise yeah, I dont see them coming.
Last season they had the Vault opening during the playoffs/grand finals - previous years had MVP and/or championship skins. I’d expect that this time we’ll have the recoloured skins - which will be sometime in November.
I keep forgetting they’re closing on the second. That’s two days where absolutely nobody can play Overwatch. So weird to think about…

but yeah it really is weird, so it’s best to cherish the last momenrs you can with ow1 before it’s all gone.
But knowing that it’s just 2 days until ow2 comes out after that i don’t mind waiting, i just opened up overwatch to play my last comp placements and to get my last comp points.

There will be an Overwatch League tab in the shop where you can redeem your OWL Tokens.
When will these two recolours land? Will we get OW2 versions of team colour skins? Dunno. But when/if they come out, it looks like they’ll be available the normal way.

Oh i already got all 32 golden weapons haha so i’m all set to start working on the new heroes once ow2 comes out and you can play comp

Yeah and it only took me 5 years since you also need to keep in mind that i’m a gold player in all roles except in tank where i’m plat. So i have to say that i’m pretty impressed with myself lol that i could get all 32 by getting 15 comp points plus a few more from plat 
it’s been tough ngl lol.
