I thought Blizzard was planning on delivering some pve event once a year. I spent $100 already on this game, I’m expecting some kind of return on my investment. Are ghe devs just lazy or did they get fired for underperforming?

Swap 2 for $ then, pve on another timezone.
Pve was cancelled for a long time and they spent more than an year lying about it. Is the sumarization of it.

They made it intentionally bad and paywalled it so they can say that no one wanted it in the first place

Died months ago.
It actually died when OW2 released, but they didn’t tell us until nearly a year later, at the time where they already took people’s money on the premise that we were getting PvE.
Can’t believe people have just forgave Blizzard entirely from straight up lying on multiple occasions with it.
PvE is dead. There will be no more PvE events, missions or campaigns. It’s done.

They couldn’t do it. They tried very hard, but in the end, they had to break their promise—and they are very, very sorry!!
Now please: if you would so kindly go check out the shop and buy yourself a nice little apology skin to make up for all the distress, it would be very much appreciated and be a huge show of good will.

The people promising PvE, the people that worked on PvE, and many of those responsible for canning PvE are all gone from Blizzard.
You can still blame Blizzard if you like, but you’re not going to accomplish much by expecting an apology or better behavior from Blizzard in the future. Nobody there now will take responsibility for the PvE mess.

If you wanna help the franchise and yourself (to get something brand-new), boycott the shop until they deem F2P Overwatch not profitable anymore which will force them to work on a real sequel.
That’s the best thing we can do.
