they were making inside jokes. It’s not like things were happening at the so called “Cosby Suite”. Activision Blizzard reacted to avoid the impending sh!tstorm.
A bunch of immature jokes have been leaked, and as far as I know, there are no sexual harassment lawsuits in an individual context.
BUT “frat boy culture” has a long history in this industry and especially in gaming-studios.
Instead of changing the root causes, a few people are fired for making jokes about it.
Team 4 made a deal out of something nobody even cared about, similarly to when WoW devs changed a portrait of a woman to a bowl of fruit.
