I gave up, been a couple months.
I’m still here! I have the luxury of being able to solo queue with Sombra or play in a 3-6 stack with Masters and GMs, and the experience is night and day. You can feel useless and awful when there’s ZERO coordination, you EMP 4 people, die, and your team is still sitting at the choke behind Reinhardt with his shield up. However, when you have coordination and chemistry with your teammates, Sombra feels like the biggest game changer on the field. Some pros like Calvin think she’s OP in a well coordinated setting, and while I disagree due to how easily she can be stopped by anyone who’s paying attention, I can understand his opinion. Watching Surefour’s spectacular performance with her in the World Cup also gave me some inspiration to keep trying to get better with her.

They are not, that’s the whole point of my previous post.
The pros have admitted she was overturned and is op, the forums however thinks she needs more as they cant 1v6 with her like tracer or widow can

what a joke of a character. watching the pros play and how they place translocator at spawn, stealth to enemy spawn, shoot the enemy team as they move to the point. and players just ignore an enemy shooting them in the back because any time chasing her is a stupid waste.
oh gee, what skill that took, can’t wait to watch and play more of this game.

Now to the Point:
Infinite Stealth and TL created a lot of problems what you already said for example, Scouting what only is good in pro, etc etc. basically it makes her Strong in Pro level play (but it made her 100 times more boring to watch because you can’t even hear them calling out what they are scouting) but It kept her almost trash anywhere lower GM (In which she always had a pretty good Winrate.)
I don’t think it will be possible for the Devs to balance her to more Rank’s without removing it.
But I don’t think they like reverting I hope they find another Solution…

Her GM pickrate has increased 400% in the past 3 months. Even in soloQ, she’s a pretty good hero when you play around your team instead of expecting them to play around you.
In pro play, the meta is still being developed. Sombra + Doomfist, Genji/Tracer dive, GOATs, Triple tank dive, Genji + Sombra, Tracer + Widow and Mccree + Sombra have all seen some success.
I was never a Sombra main per se. After playing the new Sombra, I really like her and have added her onto my flex roster for certain maps. It’s a new playstyle that’s more opportunistic and tactical than the “rotation-based” + hope-the-stars-align playstyle she had before.

Yes in GM she works (like she always did if you could play her) but the team needs to play around you, you can do the best you can to play around them but that won’t be enough what my point is She will never be able to be balanced on both Proplay, GM and Ladder as long she has infinite Stealth
A Character should be balanced around as much ranks as possible and for her it’s possible to get her balanced at least till platinum but not with Infinite Stealth and TL

Dude you are 1%, this forum has asked for sombra’s head since the begining . Don’t Even mention the pros
I don’t play her on my GM account. I play her on my 3400 - 3600SR dps account, and she still works pretty well.
You still don’t quite get the problem:
to add something small most Hero’s played right now are countered by Sombra which also is a reason for her Pick-rate to rise (basically the Meta that is forming is strongly favoring her)
This is a quote from my other post and the reason she works for you judging from what you said you are a GM player (normally) that’s why you can bring her to work. And why anyone who is not as skilled as a GM player can’t. You will not be able to play her the same at ranks with less teamplay (Master is still pretty ok with team play and most of them know how to play with a Sombra).
I don’t even want big changes better Visual (on hacked targets) and an Increased movement speed (fix her thousends of bugs obviosly) would probably fix her and make her viable at around plat but it probably would make her even stronger at Pro and GM (or better said in Pro or GM hands at a Rank with decent Teamplay).
As someone who plays at platinum not because I can’t climb but because I think Platinum is the best and most fun Rank to be in (this may sound like I think of myself better but this is actually how I feel and how I want to play) I still get a lot of hate and a lot of looses because I’m useless without follow up.
I hope you can understand that I can understand your point too but I still think that it won’t be possible to have her balanced with Infinite Stealth because of the reason’s I already mentioned.
