When Sombra rework came out, forum was full of Sombra discussion. After a month? Of her release, there’s hardly any Sombra discussion.
Are Sombra mains happy with the new Sombra, or have they just given up?
I know Sombra still has negligible usage, and lowest win rate. Just wondering what happened to all of them

They decided to pick on Doomfist instead.
I’m not sure for anybody else, but I just straight gave up. Today is the first time I’ve touched this game in a month.
i just cannot play Doomfist and i have tried.

that’s sad. especially since I’ve just started playing sombra, and I quiet enjoy her. Feel like she should have a slight buff, but that too only her spread, and maybe a slight stealth damage threshold
i love sombra, i have had teams in silver chase me down because i was doing so well but i had to solo due to team not following up.
Been playing Reaper, had a great Quad Blosom kil yesterday on Anubis that let my team cap the second point
pick up or pick on? sombra threads were about how she was terrible, and everyone would flame them for picking sombra. doomfist is not in a bad spot at all currently
Gave up when they decided to renege on buffs because she saw some use in Contenders.

Scores of Sombra mains gave their feedback on the new changes and Blizz directly ignored them. Now they won’t even tell us if they’re going to leave her with the lowest win rate in the game or if she has changes on the horizon.
Then were apparently going to relook her rework but then she got used half a dozen times in the first days of Contenders so Blizz just dropped it.
Way to ruin the fun, Blizz.
Mercy post drowned them out
I think the recent patch and use of pros just showed how hard she is to balance. So people are little confused.
I realized new Sombra would be OP in OWL settings, because she can transmit information and they can pick team comps based on the enemy, but when will people realize ladder isnt OWL. People can hardly play 1 hero properly, let alone all 3 roles.
Sombra is really annoying to me as a support main, but at the same time, it’s sad to see her treated this way
Not happy, but the bug fixes they did made her a lot more reliable and almost a decent pick …. better shut up now than risking an other “buff”.
sombra have really small playerbase. All vocal ones already said anything they could. It’s not mercy that has like 30% of playerbase playing her
Playing Zenyatta, shrugging off Sombras.
That is basically 95%+ of the Sombras i run into. They’re not a threat to Zen. Tracer and Genji are more lethal.
Other than that, i’ve been playing Doom 2016, the controls and handling are pretty close to overwatch so playing that isn’t going to have any detrimental effects to my muscle memory… tho i do tend to occasionally try to double jump on Sombra when i jump off a platform.
As for the positives. The bugs have been significantly reduced and hack doesn’t break anywhere as often as bfore.
The other thing is the animation cancel on reload when you hack, that is only a fraction of a second but that actually helped a lot in making her feel smoother.

that seemed like a bad sombra play tbh. She didn’t attack Zen after using EMP, and used it when there was no team follow up possible
unlike the very… very… vocal mercy community, the sombra players either switched to other heroes like tracer, soldier, etc or quit playing completely
the difference with mercy is what i think would be that mercy doesnt exactly have any mechanical skill carry over to any other hero in the game, so they cant have such a smooth transition to another heroes, so they rather either quit, or complain
after a while people get tired of banging their heads against a wall waiting for a reply, the only which will persist is mercy threads because the character has a big following.
That was just bad Sombra play.
