What ever happened to Snizzlenose?

I remember a guy who had some ridiculously good Hog montages early into OW. His name was Snizzlenose I think?
I know he was on a esports team at some point, but his account seems inactive, and I haven’t seen or heard anything of him.

His prediction plays on Hog were ridiculous. It was like he had a hundred different clocks keeping track of every ability in game.

Is the guy still around?

Never heard of him, but he probably got sick and tired of his main being overshadowed by the meta for a while like the rest of us.

I don’t know if it was just Hog mains, but this guy was a God back in the days. His hog hooks were something else.

did some digging for you OP; he was last active for a year and he isn’t playing for any team as far as i know - his twitch lines up with his last tweet about it on august '17.

so he’s either just given up, he’s awol, or… something not good. hopefully he just got tired of it.

Yeah, seems he just vanished from Youtube, Twitch, the pro scene and Twitter.

Shame, I remember his montages getting me so hype back when I started OW. Didn’t seem to get a fraction of the views significantly worse OW content does. Wonder if that’s why.

Strange bump to this thread

He was a god? the creator and ruler of the universe and source of all moral authority?, the supreme being?

He was Hog in physical form.

Nothing short of an absolute being.

LOL those wonky hooks. Wow, I missed the old hog.
Maybe the hook change is why he left, that’s a skill of its own.

By far one of my favourite compilations of any game is this one:

I still don’t know how he predicts some of the Tracer blinks so well. I miss the days when Hog was actually impactful.

I’m pretty sertain he just got bored of the game. He was released in juli. If you look at his player data on overbuff ( Snizzlenose#2205) it’s pretty clear that he kind of stopped playing since then. He played a little in august, once in september and once in octobre. I think it’s highly unlikely that he died. The “big” roadhog nerf reducing his damage per shot by 33% was in juni. The buff to his heal making him able to move etc. was in the beginning of august i think. I guess he didnt like him as much, especially since he wasn’t able to compeat in skrims anymore. Edit: On juli the 13th of 2017 he said on twitter: “Goodbye Roadhog, welcome Soldier” edit #2: thought about it for some while, and to be honest I’m not as sure anymore. he didnt update his tweet asking for team offers, neither did he delete it. Also he stopped streaming at all, even TF2 wich he streamt often. But as I said before he played ow a few months after as well. Because of that I conclude: He stopped playing competetive video game sat all.

Snizzle stopped playing overwatch around the time when Blizzard stopped allowing anyone to host tournaments with cash prizes (since this was when they were planning to release OWL and Contenders) but it took an extra year or so for Blizzard to actually release it so there was a lot less to do unless you were in like the top 10 teams. And around that time Blizzard was sending emails to players that had reached over 4200SR to be potential OWL players, but lots of good players like Snizzle never recieved one so lots of players like him stopped competing around that time.
