Depends on what you mean by throw. Do you mean actually throwing? Or are you talking about off-roling, practicing heroes, playing poorly, or doing goofy strats? Cause I see a lot of people complain and take QP way too seriously

Depends on a person…
But if some one is picking a new hero to try out and they want to learn how to play around certain counters/or they just want to get the gist of it it means “I know that it is suboptimal, but where am I supposed to learn the hero?”…
On the other hand there are people that would say that to justify trolling. Mei walling you in spawn and saying “why are you mad? it is just QP, who cares?”

I see it to mean it doesn’t count for anything so play what you want or leave if the map sucks or if it’s an unbalanced lobby full of silvers vs top 500s.

If I see DPS prioritizing their targets and harassing enemy support then I’m not complaining regardless how bad they’re playing
Very big difference someone picking pharah when enemy is full of snipers and hitscan or ice wall life grip trolling

That there is a mode for leaning forward and sweating your butt off.
And there is a mode for, we just here to chill with our friends or play with people not in our skill bracket (some of us think stomping worse players makes you a loser)

There is also a difference in skill…
Like for example last time I played comp I played around plat level. I have a friend that is in diax. And we play sometimes with other friends that are bronze… Like we should be able to play with them in QP lobby. But because of our skill level and fact that we both play support our bronze damage players just will struggle to get value a lot of the time. And if some one ask me why we do it? Well it is QP, and we want to spend time playing a game with our friends!

as long as they know the basics they can play whatever
though if i see someone go pharah with enemy comp of dva widow soldier ana illari im gonna have to ask for the swap as impossible to learn if you die 24/7 from so many counters

Thats what they have us for then. We just tell them “well don’t do this, do that instead” and so on. So if they will do something dumb we will tell them.

It tends to either mean that they are offended that you have expressed that you have basic expectations, or that you are getting way too excited over things that you probably shouldn’t.

QP is a quick match. That’s it. You still try to play the game and objective to your best ability.
If you’re just trying out random heroes and playing death match, then pick one of the 60 million arcade modes and custom game types provided.
