What does Half Life 3 and Overwatch 2 have in common

They’ll never ever come out

I mean, Half Life Alyx was basically Half Life 3. So they’re not really alike.

We’ve been waiting for Half-Life2 A LOT longer than we have for Overwatch 2 :man_shrugging:t2:

I did.
It wasnt really funny tho.

I’m thinking its going to be more like Duke Nukem Forever. Just takes 15 years

Yeah and when it comes out, everyone kind of wishes it hadn’t.

error 404, sarcasm not found.

Can’t wait to see this joke age poorly!

I bet you if it came out rushed everyone would getting error 37.

You know what else they have in common? They’ll probably be worth the wait considering they’re taking their time to make it good and not rushing out an unready product

Not really. HL:A was a prequel so is more like Half Life 2.5, limited to hardware that 99% of half life fans don’t even own so couldn’t experience.

yea but nobody cares.

To be fair, HL:A was only release just to sell their VR, otherwise we would have never see another HL sequel. To be honest, I’m glad for the release because it sets the standard for VR games, and if more VR games is of such caliber, there will be even more surge of VR gamers.

Right now, what is holding VR back is the entry level cost, and how much space/equipment you need for it. The Occulus quest is trying to bring that entry level cost for consumer, but the issue is a lot of people do not like facebook and I do not blame them for it.

A fanbase that’s likely impossible to please due to hype surrounding the games?

Oh.

lol. I eventually want to get into VR, but not right now. I’m still waiting for the tech to grow some more to be more lightweight while still being powerful.
