What do tiers mean in overwatch (tier 1,2,3,4)

I hear about this a lot but I have no idea what it means, I’m currently 3400, what tier would I be in?

I never did hear of tiers, maybe you do mean endorsement ?

It’s rough rankings of the competitive scene.

T3 is top 32 OD/consistent high rank open circuits/trials

T2 is contenders,

And T1 is professionals.

Essentially:

Tier 1 - Overwatch League

Tier 2 - Contenders

Tier 3 - Top 32 Open Division

Tier 4 - Aspiring to become professional, eligible to enter many smaller tournaments, basically a good team whoch hasn’t made top 32 OD, usually 4.2k+
