I came here for answers, but all I’m left with are questions…
They let you create more user friendly customizable settings for your Workshop projects. When you add one it puts a new Workshop Settings menu in the main custom game menu that can be customized like other non-Workshop settings. The value set there can then be stored in a global variable and used by the creator of the project to modify things. It makes Workshop settings much more accessible to those who don’t know how to use the Workshop.
