Now that Tracer mains whined about how “bad” one of the most consistent and best heroes in the game that finally got some consistent counterplay after 2 years.
Now that the counterplay is largely gone, who counters Tracer. She can bait flash, bash (not that it matters anymore), hook and others, has the best horizontal movement in the game on a tiny CD plus if she takes damage she can just go back to when she didn’t.
The fact that the “monster” that is Brig was needed to shut Tracer down says a lot.
If anything just revert the shield bash and heal changes and make it so that Brig’s inspire heals herself less.

I heard Ashe is a very viable choice. I’m pretty sure Mei can annoy Tracer a lot as well just by existing.

why not one mention sombra?

Pharah was semi decent due to splash damage, but that’s gone.

armor put armor everywhere, but then u can also bait her dash and recall or just read her movement patterns and outplay her, since she gets heavily punished for making mistakes

Good point. One hack and she can’t do anything.

But Brigitte punishes everyone else more than she punishes Genji or Tracer.

Not just that, Mei is better than McCree by a longshot because she can one-shot Tracer, freeze is more consistent than flash, just slowing her is usually enough for your team to capitilize. Mei ironically has a harder to hit hit-box, Mei has 50 more health, a self-shield and access to high ground. She is legit a counter relative to McCree.

Tracer is actually my goto Mei counter pick.
Turrets you have to kill first, but the whole team knows your there now isn’t much fun.
Of course random headshots as always are the bane of Tracer.
Exactly !.. Though I am not sure with the harder to hit hitbox. But one shot icicles are a huge deal when it comes about countering Tracer.
I feel that if the tracer was able to bait the flash or bash then she deserves to at least survive that fight. There shouldn’t be a hero that just completely shuts down another and makes them unplayable.
These brig changes give a skilled tracer a better chance but they in no way make Brig useless against tracer. Brig still has a 500 hp shield, armor, and better self heal.

Brig is still a good counter due to armor and her healing.
McCree has the stun headshot combo.
Ashe, Torb and Mei can one shot headshot.
Torb’s turret is a pain for her to deal with.
Widow, Pharah, Hanzo, and Junk while damage boosted can one shot her with a bodyshot.

I didn’t think of ashe as I have yet to play her. It seems like more of a skill match up tho which can be inconsistent especially with tracers hitbox. I suppose dynamite would be good tho.
At the very least Dynamite would very likely force her to recall if she cannot be healed. Forcing Tracer to recall is always something of good value in my book.

McCree is THICC and his hat is part of his head. He is so juicy to shoot at whereas Mei is okay, I guess. I would much rather shoot at a McCree though. It might just be a personal thing, idk. I have an easier time with the width. Like a Torbjorn.

I didn’t actually think or torb and his turret. Thanks.
this is similar to my post… but i rather tune tracer than have a braindead monster in the game
tracer has one of the lowest winrates in the game
“no counters”
maybe realize that you’re heavily biased for no reason, the only place where tracer has no counter is overwatch league
