How 2 deal with op hero?
Ashe or a tank to dive her (leaving rest of team vulnerable of course).

From a support perspective I don’t think you can go wrong with Mercy. Sojourn has a slow one shot meaning rez can counter her fewer long range kills compared to Widow/Hanzo. While also being a rather hard target to hit unless she charges up rail gun. If you run into the Sojourn mirror you have a good support buddy to go with.
From the tanks… my preference is just keeping shields up. Rein, Sigma, Winston. She can charge on shields, but it is a very slow rate which wastes her time more than without it being there. It does restrict greatly the one shots she can get when you have a shield slowing you down.
On DPS… She’s well rounded. Not much of a direct hero counter I can think of rather than doubling on the weakness of her team and punish them. I loved going Mei to cut off enemy DPS and support heals and just collapse on a walled tank.
Dynamite her, most Soj will then feel in danger and rocket boost jump… ez trajectory to headshot.

You counter Sojourn with Sojourn, and you better be the better one.
Otherwise, enjoy your loss
You counter Sojourn by shoothing her in the head with a hitscan weapon, like most other heroes.
You counter Sojourn with damage.
Tank - Winston , by far the best, Sigma if your map allow it, Zarya maybe to just be as OP as her, then D.va, but be warned that Defence Matrix doesnt work against Sojourn’s ult.
DPS - A really good Genji, Tracer, Sombra, or a better Sojourn.
Supp - Lucio for speed and beat, Kiriko for immortality and Kitsune, Bap for immortality, Window is just worst Kitsune.

she is very weak to them
as a soja main i always change when their tank have a shield (reinhardt for example)
Step 1. Pick Sojourn
Step 2. Hope her magic insta kill hitscan results in a kill before the enemy sojourns does
Step 3. If they got the pick instead good luck
She literally gets free railgun charge from shields so she mows down your shields with her 45 round magazine and then one shots someone when it gets dropped/broken

The idea is to try and stop her railgun from being used too easily after its charged, but it only really works best when u’re using Winston really cuz Rein is kinda bad and Sigma is situational.
What counters Sojourn?
An active balance team and management that is willing to work quickly. Neither of which are available, so right now there is no counter.

Supporter should pick then:
Bap, Zen or Moira.
Only a mirror or Widow with great aim. Truly busted hero.

it would’ve been bap but since ineffectives cried nerfs now they flee or get deleted by sojourn. see how nerfs backfire? since nerfs don’t apply to dev accounts, they accommodate.
