What button is your melee? (PC)

I’ve always felt that “v” was a weird button to have melee, so ever since the beginning I’ve bound it to my side mouse button and have done so for any other game with melee. What do most of you bind your melee to?

Scroll Wheel Press = Ult

C is melee and V is set to Comunication wheel. I dont know why is this vice versa by default. But so I dont understand more things, for example Kiriko LMB and RMB :man_shrugging: and some more

I bind based on small, little things that make sense to me. Like “R” is for reload because of the first letter (English). This ability is a mobility option so it is bound to the side mouse button that’s “forward.” This is a defense or utility ability so it’s on the side mouse button that’s near the “back” because I am bracing. Little things like that.

So if I want to send an enemy away with a melee attack, flick the mouse wheel away like flicking a bug away.

M4. Imo, no key works for melee if you’re a Tracer main. You have to do it fast a lot.

I moved the E ability to F

Default V, honestly. I don’t have a hard time reaching it in a split-second, so I don’t feel any need to change it.

what finger do you even use to press it without lifting off the whole hand or mashing spacebar instead?

Thumb is on Left CTRL, index is on the A, middle is on W, ring is on D, and pinky is on C. Pinky hits the V key for melee.

I’m a southpaw.

V since it’s the only natural button for it as you can use your left thumb to jump and punch fluidly simultaneously or in succession and your hand never moves from that. I had it on mouse too, but using mouse buttons while gripping your mouse and handling mechanical aim while pressing the button can sometimes cause difficulty so I have ping and “I need help!” on my mouse buttons instead since they’re usually not so urgent

I’ve changed it to Q so it’s close to the W button, so I can quickly press it and have it close, and my ultimate to F, so I can pay respect .
