Dva getting nerfed was pretty expected, it’s kinda good that her knock back resistance and health was reduced by quite a lot, it just seemed impractical to be playing against a 750hp behemoth that can delete you before you could react
The orisa and roadhog buffs I feel are going to add up over time, but for now kinda inconsequential
Not sure if I should be excited about the sigma changes, he looks like he can be more brawly now with the higher explosion damage and no longer damaging himself
The bastion changes look like they would be pretty strong but we shall see
Cassidy changes finally make flash bang not useless or garbage
Hanzo’s changes look like a buff, but I guess the slower arrow draw speed is a trade off I guess
Don’t really care about the support changes except the zen discord buff
Dva, needed adjustment. I think the armor in general would have been fine for right now.
Orisa I am fine with these changes, but it is weird that they buff her along with Sigma changes.
I have to test out Cassidy, as it allows him to burst and kill flankers, but with a cost of not restricting the movement too much, so I guess this is one you have to play around with.
Bastion is a good change.
Hanzo- feels bad, but at least he can now one-shot 225hp heroes.
All the support changes are interesting, but I think the Discord changes are going to cause issues later on in the season.
Dva is surprisingly more squishy now than I thought after playing a few games and that’s honestly ok since she keeps her damage. If they nerfed both she’d be a throw pick so that’s good.
Playing into Zarya is a lot harder now though so the buffs against beams they mentioned needs to come soon.
Not a bad patch at all IMO. At least from what I’m reading. It seems pretty reasonable. I will always groan at Orisa and Roadhog buffs but I suppose they may have needed it.
i feel those changes will eventually add up like how dva became a sleeper pick until now, i dont think removing self inflicted damage on sigma is strong on its own, but it does encourage sigma to be more brawly since it has shifted power from direct hits to explosion damage whilst making him slightly stronger against dive bc he doesnt need to fear dying to himself
the best patches are the patches where they undo previous patches. hooray for hanzo
however when i put it like that i really wonder why i still play this game looool, there really havent been any patches in the last couple years that on their own merits made the game better than it was
Flashbang being a big AoE with the same damage as old hindernade is nuts
I fully expect them to revert it at least partially to like 60 damage in season 13. Throwing it around a Genji deflect cos they think they’re safe is peak
It does near double the damage and armor got nerfed, so flash + fan/roll/fan is gonna be the new meta against Winston’s and Balls
Also high noon cost reduction, not sure this was necessary but I ain’t complaining

Hanzo changes are ok, would’ve preferred the gut storm arrow and kept his normal firerate. Orisa and Hog microbuffs zzz. Sigma buff is whatever, not a fan of shifting his power away from direct hits or removing damage reduction’s ability to mitigate his ult partially. Not sure how that interacts with Nano but nano’ing a fluxed target is going to be a lot less viable strat now. Venture nerfs make NO sense. Dva nerfs are fine, would’ve preferred they got rid of some of her burst damage and reworked armor again but that’s too ambitious. For the love of god rework sniper maps already
This is kinda what I was hoping for so it’s good to see some validation even tho it’s early.
I think this is a good direction for her since it keeps some of her carry potential and differentiates her from some the other tanks. You can delete people and make plays but you just have to be smarter about it. At least that’s the theory
