I’m looking for streams that are educational on the game to get better. I’d also like to know if there are any legit Overwatch YouTube channels that give good learning tools other than generic advice. Thanks in advanced.
Honestly, educational content is pretty low these days.
Jayne was the major guy doing vod reviews every week, that stopped when he joined Dallas and hasn’t picked up yet even though he isn’t with Dallas anymore.
ChroNoDota is out of the game as well, I believe?
SVB remains, but he doesn’t do VOD reviews, I don’t think, he’s more of a generalist.
Overwatch content creation is kind dead…
Edit:
There’s DeoPhest, she still drops the occasional VOD review.
Idk about youtube but ItsTryhard on twitch is very good if you have questions about the game.
ml7support also has good content on both youtube and twitch I think.
What are the best streamers for learning the game
The problem with streamers is, they tend to be very high level players and if you’re only just learning the basics of the game their streams may not be the best place to start. They’re playing almost a different game than beginners.
Youtube is full of Overwatch basics videos, those are a good place to start (on top of playing the game yourself). There are streamers with lots of good educational content on youtube though.
-
mL7 for support play and especially Ana
-
KarQ has a stellar corpus of educational videos on Youtube

Jayne is more of an overall guy and maybe more relatable to higher levels of OW (he used to coach in OWL) but his content is solid and he’s good at explaining his reasoning
They all stream on Twitch as well.
Thanks for the responses guys. I’m checking out these people now.
OneAmongstMany has a very inconsistent and sparse schedule but his coaching stuff is really good imo.
