Does anyone have any good video recommendations or have any good general tips on how you’re supposed to play D.VA?
As you can see from my profile, I’ve always been a tank main, but D.VA is at the bottom of the list. I’ve never really understood her and it always felt like when you boost in, you instantly get melted and then you’re on foot just trying to survive.

Pick a different, less annoying hero.
Play her like reaper! I always saw them as similar heroes playstyle wise.
Use different skins whenever you can switch to confuse the enemy 
Use Officer on attack, wave racer on defence as an example.
Learn ult tracking, literally the most important skill with D.va
