Big W, tracer fell off big time in OW2, she needs tweaking to be more inline with the rest of the line up

So let’s see there was Torb, Bastion and then Mei and now Tracer. I read somewhere Brig has some as well and also some heroes.

What’s with all this bugs. This is just a bad show Blizzard.

I guess the early access moniker make sense. We all are playing extended beta.

Bastion, Torb, Mei have bugs: “Holy crap remove them from the game for two weeks!”

Tracer has a bug: “nah she fine lol in fact have a buff after we fix it”

Very incompetent clowns

This is incredibly disengenous.

Tracers bug amounts to a relatively small(compared to the other bugs) buff.

Mei and Bastion had gamebreaking bugs.

Blizzard also didn’t remove Brig for her bug.

Aaron Keller said this on Reddit:

Hi all. We’re currently investigating and planning to address this bug in a future patch. However, this has seemingly been in the game for the last few builds(we just verified it in the Halloween patch), and while the sharp damage drop off for Tracer is definitely a bug, her overall power level has been ok. We are not planning to disable Tracer, and when we fix the bug, we will also look at additional changes to her kit to compensate.

I’m confused why does she need any compensation?.

Imagine how much better the game would feel if tracer genjo and all the other hyper mobile bull gets disabled.

Over 300 hours sunk into her and this is the worst shes felt to play since i picked her up. Glad shes getting looked at.

Because she hasn’t really been viable for a long, long time. With this bug she is at least a pickable and playable hero in the OW2 environment. They are seeing from their own data that this ‘bug’ isn’t making her overpowered, and from what I gather they are seeing it’s actually just increasing her viability right now.

So that means she needs a little bit of help to remain viable once the bug gets fixed. In other words, Tracer has been powercrept by new heroes and it took this bug for them to figure it out.

What I love about this, is that the only thing worse than being a clown, is being an incompetent clown.

Apologies to any clowns reading this.

and what about torb? his wasn’t particularly game-breaking or stronger than tracer’s

The difference is Torb was already in pretty strong place. Tracer is F tier and hardly played

Uhhh whAT LOL

Torb’s made it so his overload never had a cooldown and he had it up 100 percent of the time. I’m pretty sure having permanent armor and permanent increased attack speed was ridiculous.

really? I thought it was just double overload. in that case yeah it was probably gamebreaking. I never noticed torb being too strong with it

Yeah no, the way it worked was you could Overload and then Overload again as soon as it ended so it effectively had no cooldown at all. It wasn’t a minor bug, they did the right thing by disabling him. It just took them far too long to fix it.

Im not sure what his bug was, but he wasn’t removed from the game, only comp.

They just released a sniper-flanker, new hero to counter sojourn and widow
