my ping suddenly went from average 40 ping to 280 for some reason.
what i have done
flushed my ip and DNS
uninstalled and reinstalled blizzard app
reset my network multiple times
reset my pc multiple times
Its an issue with Bell in Canada right now.
Everyones being put on South American servers.

Would this include parts of the U.S.? I currently live in Maine and have been having Ping issues (Server IPs are in Brazil). and has there been any notice of them trying to fix the issue?

This should give you some more info. No other word on the topic, from what ive seen at least.
It isn’t just Canadians or Bell Internet. I am having issues from Connecticut, USA. I connect to Brazilian servers with 1000+ ping.
That said here is a thread with some others having the issue: Canadians are getting a huge spike in Latency
