Are we gonna get other male heroes too? XD
We got : Ana , Sombra, Moira, Brigitte ,Orisa .(a robot, but still a female one)
We got : Doomfist.

So its a 5v1 atm.

Probably? I mean, if you look at the whole picture, you will see that it is actually 13v13 now. The game released with more males than females (Bastion was confirmed to not have a gender).

Anyway. We currently have lots of popular male characters in the lore that could be added as heroes eventually, like Maximilien, Liao, Emre, Pharah’s dad and Sanjay.

You can’t just ignore the others though, because the cast starting out majority male is probably why the new ones have been majority female.
That being said we are all evened up now so the next one probably will be male.

Lets get twins added into the game. I’ve always liked the idea of twins in overwatch :stuck_out_tongue: Could have one male and another female. And then boom it’d be 14v14.

Is Zenyatta really male though? Having a name ending in A (or an Ah sound) is a really common thing for female characters in this game, Zenyatta is female confirmed :smirk:

I always saw it as Blizzard trying to dodge bullets from the feminists who don’t play video games but still demand them to cater to them, like if they released too many male character they’d get slammed for under-representing women or some bs like that.

More or less the next hero is whats-his-face mentioned in Torb’s Letter. And then after him, that one woman in the wide shot of Ana’s character animation, given that letter guy is that dude who’s squatting/sitting on something in the image.

Taking how long it takes for animation to be produced and how he was released with an animation and a comic, I highly doubt he was only made “for the memes”.

I hope this game reaches 100. Hero diversity is what can save this game. If they do it quickly enough that is.

They really shouldn’t add that many, 50’s pushing it, and this is because of having too many heroes to have to remember and compensate for each hero selection.
