Hey all. Well im the new guy in this game ( not joking ) and also in these forums so im kinda curious why all this hate? Why do you get so upset about some video game when you actually can have some fun? I get that Comp gaming can be frustrating some times, but actually when that happens you should take a deep breath and just relax… Because when you get frustrating and you start make stupid mistakes and get playing worse actually and start blaming everyone else when true reason to bad match experience was your attidute. Why i actually know this is because i have played alot other team based shooter games and everyone of them have same basic thing : if you can’t take video games easy and try harder than you actually can play you just start loosing. Everyone should think that it is exactly same game, not matter what rank you have. I hope that i’ll get some new friends in this game and we can have some good times while gaming, make this game better together with out toxicity.

Sadly, you wont ever find an online game as popular as Overwatch that doesn’t have lots of toxic players.

To the OP - I think its the lure of a “serious & competitive” game.
- The intricasis of the roles and the characters
- The want to prove that you belong in a certain rating
- and then you get some really low IQ players (old and young) and they usually say “something” that just tilts the wrong way.
If this was a solo game - like clash royale - yea I dont take that serious. But my friend would never play ladder matches because he was afraid of losing - and that was SOLO play. so some people really hate losing, and relying on demwits who get seeded at 2500 really makes this game frustrating sometimes.

Almost everyone on the forum are here to complain. That’s why you see pretty much nothing but toxicity. Game itself doesn’t have 1% of the negativity of the forums.
No, no it very much is not.
And that’s coming from someone who has only played OW for about a total of 2 hours over the last month compared to the usually MANY hours the months and years prior
It doesn’t help that satisfied people see/have no reason to complain about anything. They just play the game and enjoy it then go on their merry way with out saying much about it if they’re just the regular casual gamer(Aka most gamers)
This is what the grind does to me, and I am sucked back in it now. Two weeks ago, I was a happy gold m, just playing and having fun.
Now, I am sucked back into a pointless grind that makes me hate playing the game.
It sounds like you are saying people don’t complain about the game on forums all the time are just casual players.
