Weird Message in OW

Why is this happening? I got into a game and after we won I typed “gg ez”( i know i shouldn’t say that but the player on the other team was being really toxic ) . Anyway after i typed that the message became " I am unhappy about my life, but thx for playing with me team!!" I mean like I know that must be a thing OW added to prevent players from saying that but I seriously got freaked out the first time I saw this. Anyone else experiencing this???

Thats been a ‘feature’ since like a month after launch.

yet they still won’t filter out a hard R.

yup. I get it, profanity filter will block it out. but there is a world of difference between f-, s- or most of the 4 letter swears and a hard R. I have no issue saying, or hearing most of the common swears. but some words shouldn’t be spoken or typed.

Blizzard has a system in place that will replace “gg ez” with a random one of a few pure pre-written messages I believe in an attempt to discourage it.

The phrase hurt fragile people’s widdle feewings so they ran to mommy and daddy Blizzard and cried about it and they put in the auto replace phrases.
