Weekly and daily timer reset

Maybe its just me but the timer of when the dailies or weeklies will reset angers me. It feels like the time for dailies resetting is always random. (Or I just don’t pay enough attention to time) I wish they would reset at the same time every day. For example my weeklies reset at 2pm but my dailies at least today, reset at roughly 11 am?

Most annoyingly at least to me is the timer for the weeklies. The timer for my weeklies says it’ll reset in 1 hour, Perfect I get back on in an hour? 59 minutes left. What why? Maybe its just me but why can’t the timer just, be right why does it (at least for me) say 1 hour and then an hour later say 59 minutes why doesn’t it just say 2 hours instead of 1, and then just do the minute countdown it does the last hour, I can’t imagine it’s too hard to fix.

I don’t know anything about game development so maybe it isn’t that easy to fix, but mobile games can do it, so I think ow can. Sorry its a little thing but its very agitating to me at least, someone with horrible patience. The last thing I want to see after waiting a full hour is to see that I need a wait another hour, all cause their timer thing is messed up at least on my game not sure if it happens to everyone.

And yes I do know the weeklies reset 2pm my time every day and in most cases I just look at my pc time instead of the timer thing, but some days I’m just extremely bored and looking at the timer usually makes me hopeful the it’ll reset in an hour seeing as the dailies don’t have a set time.

Well your problem with weeklies seems like it boils down to them not using minutes. When it says 1 hour left, it says that Even if it’s like an hour and 44 minutes. So an hour later ird still 44 minutes.

Yeah for some reason I didn’t even think of that lol, I guess to me its just annoying if its longer then an hour but they say itll just be an hour.

Daily reset is 20 hours after you log in. So let’s just say you log into the game at noon today, the daily reset will happen tomorrow at 8 am. In a perfect world of hitting your daily resets on the spot each day, you will get 8 daily resets in a one week period.

Oh, that explains why it always felt so random. I had no idea so thanks for letting me know. : )

When it says one hour, it really means one hour and some change. It’s between 1-2 hours. It’s the same when it says there’s “2 days”, it really means at least two days plus between 0-24 hours.

I get it if its 4 hours or 2 days but if it says 1 hour, but there is 1 hour and 32 minutes left then why say one hour? If I’m going over to your house, I wouldn’t say “I’ll be there in an hour” when I’m actually an hour and 32 minutes away I’d say id be there in an hour and 32 minutes.

I get it but it feels like a little change they could make pretty easily, I know its a simple thing and it really doesn’t change anything at all, but its a little annoying to me at least but most people probably don’t care at all.
