Week 2 developer blog?

Do you think we will get to see a progression of this blog?

Or just more silence?

(aka it would have to be posted today.)

Did you really just ask to wait to get agitated?

Really?

We past that 4 years ago.

I mean yes because you are acting a little insane. There is a time when it is right to complain about lack of communication: when we have gotten a lot of it is not that time.

Just feel like it should be pointed out that we have not received “a lot of” communication. When is the next beta coming out? Next update? Next hero? We don’t have any idea what is happening at blizzard, what’s going to be released, or how much. That’s what communication is. All they have done is the bare minimum for one week(Thoughts on what already came out and telling us more is on the way). We, as fans and players that love the game, deserve to be treated better. Don’t make excuses for Blizzard, push them to be better.

When will heroes be released? When they are ready.

When is the next beta? Once the next stuff they want to test is ready (presumably ranked and new heroes).

Development has loose deadlines so expecting firm answers on things more than 3 weeks out is not practical.

I hope they keep up weekly blog posts. Even if they aren’t super detailed.

But just maintaining that cadence would bring a lot of consumer confidence to the project.

As well as provide a passive amount of advertising when all the streamers, content creators, and gaming news sites make little reports about it.

It also defeats a lot of bad press, by setting expectations, and defining reasoning. Instead of letting wild rumors and speculations spin out of control, and create a lot of unnecessary resentment and despondence.

It’s also just a comforting feeling to know that problems are getting looked at, and roughly how they will get fixed. Which also focuses the types of feedback devs can get for crowd-sourced solutions to those problems.

As someone who was previously on the “not enough communication” train, do you need an IV dripfeed of info?

Hopefully we’ll get an update once the currently active beta is over. Personally I’ll be okay with no info until the end of the next remix event.

But at least wait until the current beta is over before being mad lol

As i said on another post, while a dev blog is possible i doubt we gonna get another patch this week given how were in the final week of the beta.

There is a new patch on dev testing right now. We might see the 2.0.0.8.3 Patch later this week as a last patch for the first beta.

Blog Check, any bloggers?

Currently away from laptop, at red light
