Weapon inspect animations

The literal release trailer for OW advertised weapon inspection animations. They never added them. Scrapped PVE and story missions.

Now they’ve got weapon inspect animations… for mythic skins that cost $40 for O N E. They actually found a way to make it worse then just scrapping yet another thing they said they would deliver. They paywall it behind an actual insane price. I feel like no ones talking about this.

10$ battle pass btw.

Or do you have to buy it separately from the mythic weapon skin?

Flourish animations are not weapon inspects!!!

1 is a twirling weapon in hand, the other is a full on animation where the hero looks at their weapon and interacts with it. The latter does not exist in the game. Just what is essentially a fidget emote

You can go to apex for comparison since they have both. Heirlooms come with equip animations, usually a twirl or un/sheathing of the weapon. Then separately heirlooms have inspect animations where the character hold the weapon up and INTERACTS with it.

Let’s stop with the misinformation please

Speaking of misinformation

You can get it in the $10 battle pass…. You dont ever have to spend the extra money. Stop spreading misinformation

  1. Some people are talking about it. People just as tone dead as yourself
    .
  2. The reason masses arent is because you’re lying and making things up thats why people arent mass talking about it

The flourish isnt an inspect. The $80 mythic skin can be earned for $10 thru the battle pass. Case closed your honour. The defendant is guilty for blatantly lying

Why do people care about weapon inspects? You would use them 2 times and then never again. I mean its nice to have, but the weapons in OW are not THAT great that you would look at them from all angles.

Games where you can do it only have weapon skins and the function exist to look at the skins directly. OW focuses more on hero skins. Why do you think emotes exist?

Rein literally performs a weapon inspect in the tier 1 video. You can not gaslight us.

I just see it as a polish thing. One could use the same logic for a lot of visual effects and animations in many games. Do you really need a weapon reload animation, or can you just do like goldeneye and drop the gun off screen, make a noise, and bring it back. The reload animation doesnt affect the gameplay but it makes the experience better when the interactions within the game feel more seamless and engaging.

Yeah and that weapon inspect isnt in the game lol

They put it in the preview for the weapon but it isnt the flourish. I literally have the weapon. The flourish is just a twirl not an inspect like in the video

Next step is to charge you for matchmaking

I would never spend 10 bucks on a weapon.

its just stupid… its going to be like souvenirs … useless and waste of resources.

does it effect game play? if not, then why would any sane person care?
