We still ALL hate BRIGHT WHITE backgrounds

Seriously, how many posts over the years have said this??? Yet almost every new patch, BRIGHT WHITE backgrounds… Do the devs enjoy giving everybody headaches??? Make it end already…

The background doesn’t bother me. It’s the loud OWL music that plays right now. It’s incredibly loud in my mic.

I really wish they’d change it to black/dark grey, I hate being blinded every time I open the game.

I prefer the plain white background. I wish that we could choose so that I could have it all the time.

Turn on some lights in the room you’re gaming in, or open a window.

I play in the dark so yeah, the plain white background is burning my retinas. :sunglasses:

I hate it because it reminds me how dirty my glasses are.

agreed. its not so much the white background as it is the ability, or lack thereof, of being able to change it that irritates me. have your background for those people that care, but let me change it as i dont. i dont care for the white background nor the !@#$% owl skins either…

It’s buggy too, it just loops and loops and loops and it plays over highlights and generally drives you insane.

The London Spitfire skins are REALLY freaking ugly and I wish I didn’t have to see them

The only reason I like the white background is for in the hero gallery and that is the only place I think it should be used and even then give it as an option as it makes seeing the different skins easier. I know that may sound strange but sometimes you are paying attention to details for artistic use, getting a good look at a new skin or just enjoying the view. *wink wink

Same. Pure white lighting is really good for evaluating skins too.
I want an option to disable lighting colorization in hero gallery. Its present on most backgrounds and really messes with how stuff looks.

It’s not even white, you guys must be colourblind.

Close enough. There are millions of variations of “white”
I believe anniversary is brighter that OWL background.

Agreed. It is incredibly painful if you are sitting in a dark room.

If the background is too bright then your gamma, brightness and contrast needs to be adjusted.

you need to adjust your monitor calibration as mentioned in my previous comment and maybe look at getting led back lighting for monitors/TV’s
