Marvel Rivals has this.

Why can’t I convert my 89,000 legacy credits to anything useful? Hell, why can’t I even just convert the paid currency to mythic prisms?

Get with the times.

Marvel rivals only allows trading down not up. You can’t get lattice with units. You can get units and lattice with chrono tokens I guess technically from the battle pass but that’s just not any difference from how overwatch does it just with an extra step

I’d settle for having something to spend them on…it used to be new heroes would mean I have something to spend on….but since they arrive with nothing now, my legacy currency is rising instead of falling

heck i have prisms i may never use as im not sreally interested in anything in the store liek tracer and kiri i have the kpop skins which in my opinion are better than the skins you can get with prisms

So with the MR system, I can turn my paid coins into more legacy credits! Heck yea.

And to be fair I guess this just kinda comes back to not really have much to use legacy credits on which is a shame. So I guess if we wanted to be able to convert into legacy currency from coins and could use that on more of the skins like you can in MR then perhaps?

I’m kinda surprised they don’t really put any ow2 skins to be purchasable with the legacy stuff and they don’t even really make legendaries for new heroes you can get with them either. You can get emotes and stuff which is something I guess

At the same time though I don’t have a damn clue what kind of balancing act they have to do to get what we get to begin with, but sympathizing with the devs on the games monetization is taboo

I saw a reddit thread complaining about mr monetization and people said in response “yeah it’s a f2p game too bad” which I thought was funny

Yea, I was mainly joking about turning to legacy, as yea, not much to actually spend them on, especially as a long time ow1 player.

From what I’ve heard about MR monetization is it’s a bit better. But it’s crap in all big pvp games these days.

Obviously free to play games need to make money too, but almost everything being paid and being 15+ for a digital skin is pretty silly. But ppl pay it, no reason to change.
