I think many of you guys have heard how in overwatch 2 the new heroes will be locked behind a battlepass (free or premium it is), meaning that to be able to use that character you will have to grind/spend money. This will lead to some people having the heroes before others or even people not having the hero at all. I’m sure that none of you thinks this is a good idea and that this could easily be the WORST decision Blizzard ever made, ruining the games core, its heroes and how they’re available for everyone at everytime. Please raise your voice as we need at least to try to change things, because i’m sure that thanks to this Ow2’s fate is doomed (at least for me).
Like I said in a previous post, this decision completely goes against Overwatch’s promised philosophy of these amazing awesome free heroes that everyone gets to play.
I don’t know what on god’s name made them believe this was a good decision to proceed with.

You don’t know that.
Once the free battlepass season for the new hero is over they are very likely to sell unlocks for her in the store. We’ve no confirmation this isn’t the plan.
And while I could understand that on a way unless all heroes are unlocked by default in comp it’s a predatory move that damages the comp scene.
