Whether it’s appearance rate or winning rate, he is terrifyingly high. In the recent OWCS competition in the Korean division, you can see Doomfist in almost every game.
In normal games, it is difficult for me to resist the enemy’s Doomsday Iron Fist. As a tank player, he can often kill my teammates quickly with a charged punch, and then run away immediately. There is nothing I can do against him. You can’t choose a hog to counter the opponent’s Doomfist - hog is too weak.

Doomfist’s design is horrible for a Tank; teammates don’t like playing alongside him and enemies don’t like playing against him.
So I’d nerf Doomfist into the ground until he gets a rework that moves him back to the DPS role (no stun on Rocket Punch, Slow removed from Meteor Strike, less enemy displacement, and less single-target burst damage but more AOE damage than OW1 Doomfist).

But I play a tank. If I want to score in solo queue, I can’t always hope that my teammates will target Doomfist. I need to find some way to take advantage of him. . . It is almost impossible for other T in this version to do this
I don’t think any tanks actually need nerfs right now. Doom is strong in this meta, but he’s not strong outside of dive. Let the dive tanks have their fun in the sun. They aren’t the cause of the meta, just the symptom.

My guy, there are barely any tank players, if you nerf Doomfist, there’s a very real chance that support and dps queues will start going above 20 minutes.

Yes, Doomsday Iron Fist is already very powerful even without the cooperation of his teammates - he can often kill enemies instantly with charged punches and then quickly retreat. If he cooperates with his teammates tracer、echo、lucio to launch an attack, he will undoubtedly be meta.
no one can stop him.
Doom is the rare hero where people hate it when he’s on either their own team or the enemy team. He should be a niche hero at best, but he’s been one of the most played tanks for nearly all of OW2

Every role has at least 1 counter to him.
A really good doom is awkward to thwart without swapping onto dive/anti-dive heroes, that’s fair to say.
Every tank that’s good requires strategy to defeat though. Should we just not have any good tanks?
Lets just remove the tank role and it replace with a bot that holds shield on point. Bet people would be thrilled with that 
Most people who complain about doom play no where newr their tank/team and often die alone, its the same with Ball

Regardless of his appearance rate and winning rate in ladder matches, or his extremely high selection rate in OWCS matches, he is undoubtedly one of the heroes that destroys the balance the most. Other tanks cannot gain any advantage from him.
Irregardless though if we axe Doom. We lose a substantial amount of the few remaining tanks.
Which y’know. Queues are already back at OW1 levels. Despite needing only half the tank players. Chances are they’d get a lot worse if Doom just got nerfed.
Doom has an extremely high skill sealing that’s why people play him a lot. Besides, that he is one of a couple few tanks where you can have an impact on your own.
If you want to see less DF make the other tanks more fun

Because most of his players are Doomfist mains from OW1 like me who used to have hundreds of hours on him and decided not to give up on him just because he’s been moved to tank. Especially since he just feels like a nerfed version of OW1 Doomfist. If Doomfist was moved back to DPS the queue times for DPS would skyrocket. In short he’s as fun as a DPS role hero but he’s in the tank role which is why he’s seen so often.
I agree tbh. Doom shouldn’t be a strong hero because of how he’s designed, and for me has most fun when empowered punch was a bit better but doom was overall considered mid-weak. Also having a doom on the enemy team is boring so it would be nice if he was picked less.
