Jeff also said that Genjis deflect hitbox was fine and that you simply “shouldnt shoot at him ;)” but they changed it. What jeff says isnt set in stone.

Not happening. Resurrect as an ultimate just needed adjustments to make it fair to play against. Valkyrie would’ve been a great ability for Mercy AS LONG AS SHE REMAINED A SINGLE TARGET HEALER she just needed something to compete with Ana grenade at the time since it was super strong and she was being outclassed by it.
Resurrect needs to work differently. It can’t be instant and it can’t be on a channel + movement speed slow. Needs to be in the middle where it can be predicted that Mercy is going to use it. Visual Cues + a voice line activation at the start and then “Heroes Never Die” upon casting. Also giving it a dual property in which allies that are alive can benefit from it as well. So Mercy can focus on Tempo Resurrects rather than forcing her team to die.
THAT is how I want Mercy balanced.

I think the best solution is to make Rez instant or some other buff to it. But make it only available in Valk.
So she could have a stronger ult fight but a weaker mid fight. Which could maybe open up a space for Lucio to come in with his boops and speed for peeling.

She honestly needs another rework. Just continuously stripping things from her in an attempt to fix her failed first rework is a complete mess.
I like the idea of moving valkyrie/an ability similar to valkyrie to her E and moving rez to her ult, although personally I despise AoE rez and hope if they bring multi-rez back, it’s under a different mechanic.
Short of that though, I don’t think they should touch her. Ana and Lucio need buffs, and Moira suffers from being designed with no utility.

I am still a firm believer that Mass Rez could have been fixed with a LoS check and replace the invulnerability with Damage reduction.
