We seriously should get him as a new playable character at some point.
Based on some clips yesterday (in which there was a clip going around here and Reddit of a korean guy successfully managing to somehow play as the Heavy Assault, among other characters such as the Detonator, Training Bot or Talon Enforcer), the Heavy Assault seems like the most playable out of all the non-playable characters, as the guy was able to use the Charge on him even though he couldn’t use any abilities on anyone else judging from the looks of things. (the Assassin couldn’t teleport, the Detonator was literally useless, The Enforcer couldn’t combat roll etc)
So yes. Blizzard. Please give Heavy Assault as Hero 28. This is exactly what need right now.
You (probably): A guy the size of Reinhardt with dual Bastion Miniguns and a crap load of health?
NO! A Talon Tank! A Talon Tank is exactly what we need right now to finish off the Talon Comp! And the Heavy Assault would be a perfect choice as the evil Tank (relying on pure firepower and immense health instead of shields and CC). Plus, you cannot tell me the Heavy Assault doesn’t look like fun to play as.
