I believe Blizzard should make a Numbani Police Department (NPD) skin for Orisa. When you think about it, Orisa fits the role perfectly. OR units are practically the police of Numbani already. As a matter of fact, she’s sometimes referred to as “The Protector of Numbani,” which, when you think about it, is the duty of all officers; protect the city. In addition, some of her customization options appear to be themed after typical police duties. Mostly it’s things like her crossing guard themed sprays and halt emote. But during her ultimate, when she places down Supercharger, she yells, “Cease your resistance!” Now if that doesn’t sound like something a cop would say I don’t know what is. Upon analysis, she’s already a police officer.
But if in a future update they were to release a Numbani Police Department skin, Orisa would need more than just a fresh coat of paint. I’m talking about a police siren and lights. I’m thinking that whenever she uses Supercharger, Fortify, or the Halt emote they start to flash and go “WEEE-WOOO! WEEE-WOOO!” similarly to the police DVA skin whenever she uses her boosters. (What would be even funnier is if she occasionally sais “WEEE-WOOO!”).
In addition, she would need some new dialogue voice lines that are specific to the skin. A must have is, on occasion, upon killing an enemy she says “You have the right to remain silent” or “You’re going away for a long time.” Additionally, it would be pure awesomeness to have dialogue between Orisa and DVA when both are wearing the police skins. Another thing I’d like to request is skin-specific voice lines for the NPD skin. Something like how when Hanzo has one of the wolf skins equipped the voice line “I choose you, spirit dragon” (Already one of my favorite Hanzo voice lines) changes to “I choose you, spirit wolf.” Junkrat is right. “It’s the little things!” It is the little things that the game devs do that make their games so enjoyable.
That’s basically it (For once I actually used what I learned in English class for something useful). Besides a skin that replaces the top of Orisa’s head with a bowl of fruit and makes her horns with bananas, I have no further ideas.
