We need a meta shift

Please please please blizzard, Nerf poke and long range character heavily, I’m so tired of almost every game having the same team comps and fights taking place at an average of 30-40 meters, make a brawl and dive meta for at least one season

It was dive the past couple seasons before this one. And prior to that was brawl with heroes like ramattra and orisa due to armor bug.

Hahaha nooooo, Ashe has been a lobby admin for a while now, And it was widow before that

Maybe it hasn’t been dive at lower ranks, as it rarely ever is. But that’s what the meta was prior to poke buffs with sigma and Ashe. Ashe was last mid season if I recall.

What rank is this? I almost never see poke in silver/gold. It always dive. Normally doom, genji,vendetta, juno, ana

He’s in console Bronze

Funnily enough he praised the aim assist buffs for console, now he’s upset the characters who benefit the most from them are being played the most.

Surely there isnt a meta….thats what bans are supposed to address….

They would if people would actually ban problem characters like Ashe, but they don’t

Throughout my time in Masters and GM, I can tell you that long ranged hitscans have been meta since at least Season 9, if not even longer. And it doesn’t look like it’s changing - in fact, patch notes suggest this is exactly ehat the devs want.

people often times ban the heroes they perceive to be a nuisance rather than the heroes that are actually dominating the meta, i mean thats why sombra was perma banned for a long time until vendetta became the new object of hatred

i dont think its a bad thing that people use their bans in this way, it is their choice after all, but it would be nice if people targeted the actual meta instead of relying on their biases
