Simply said, add a period before the match where the highest ranked player on each team gets to ban 2 heroes, this stops people from playing the same meta over and over and allows players to ban characters the balancing team has not properly balanced

Who is to say the teams don’t ban characters that counter their current Goats comp because they are practiced with that strat??? Oh I’d like to ban Sombra and Pharah pls. GG lets run goats.

We do not need this at all.
Doubtful Blizzard would ever implement anything like this either as they want people to be able to play whichever heroes they want.
If a pre-match ban were implemented then inevitably someone’s main would end up being banned meaning they’d have to choose another character which they may not be as good with or enjoy playing as much.

Yeah this would get abused really fast, I wouldn’t even trust myself with this system I would be taking Torb, Sym, or Bastion away every time.
Because they are definitely the most experienced players on the team. Everyone on the team should be about the same MMR given they’re in a match together.
