That being said the amount of LGBT post recently will make any revel in the near future seem like pandering, while the longer they wait the louder the cries become.

The content of these threads should not affect your enjoyment of the game, since, if we take you at your word, you “don’t care”.
The presence of these threads should also not affect your enjoyment of the game, since 1. They are in the forum, which is not an essential part of the game, and 2. The concept of “not reading them” exists.
Therefore, the only reason for complaints like these are 1. You do care about preserving a safe space from things that trigger you, such as the presence of minorities, or 2. Someone is holding a gun to your head and forcing you to read through them all.
If it’s #1, I suggest you re-evaluate the premise that you “don’t care”. If it’s #2, I suggest you redirect your complaint to the person holding the gun to your head.

Just mute all the threads, Blizzard isn’t going to make a hero just to make a tiny group happy, that would only increase the amount of the posts asking for more.

They aren’t going to make it anyway. It seems people forget that Overwatch lore has never been explored. They just did marketing vignettes here and there, and low quality 10-page comic book shorts that barely explored a damned thing.
Blizzard Marketing was at its finest with this game. Market it as a new Blizzard I.P. and indicate a lore to be explored, then do absolutely nothing with it once the several billion dollars were made, and instead focus investing in the eSports bubble, purchasing the Burbank Studio lot for Blizzard Arena, and all that stuff.
What is the use of even remotely showing a character’s orientation, when there is absolutely zero lore development to go along with it? While Tracer/Emily was tastefully revealed, it still died on the branch with Reflections. They tossed the promised bone, then left it to rot.
Which they’ve done with Overwatch Lore as a whole.
From what I understand, Blizzard indicated in 2017 that they have more new I.P.'s under development. Needless to say, I won’t be a customer for them.

The spam in twitch chat during the hammond skin drawing was ridiculous. It was filled with all sort of LGBT meme spam and stuff about McCree. After a while it died off almost completely so I’m assuming the mods banned them.
