They said that they fixed the matchmaking and the SR. I really hope that we will get a helpful patch

Patches takes weeks to come through (at least 3) because certain platforms (Sony) are a pain
Any sort of update to any software is by definition a patch. Literally the first sentence from wikipedia is “A patch is a set of changes to a computer program or its supporting data designed to update, fix, or improve it.”.
Yes. But team 4 works with hot fixes (something they can apply immediately) or patches (something that requires upload approval).
And it’s still a patch by definition. Calling it a patch isn’t wrong, end of story. No point arguing it.

I played 3 games today and matches did feel a little more balanced.
Bit of context
I’ve taken a week break after a losing streak of 20 games vs 2 wins so I’ve deranked to gold 5. Solo support player.
First game felt fairly balanced, we won, felt quite easy for me to keeps myself alive as brig.
Second game balanced again, I had 1 really terrible DPS and a really good one. I imagine this DPS came from a loose streak too because he was hard carrying. Pocketed him and we would have won, but our tank left in round 2.
Third game, both DPS had terrible positioning, but so did the other DPS. They kept trying to chase me as a mercy and I would just duke them leaving them in a bad position after spotting them. Again fairly balanced, I had bad team mates but so did they.
Again this is only 3 games, but I felt after such a long lose streak I can carry my rank out of low gold if the games keep like this

statistically a sample of 1 or 2 people has no value, it would take the opinion of 100 or 1000 people
you’re just on a winning streak and I’m on a losing streak
I was playing against Masters, it’s not fixed. The devs have lost their minds.
