So I was thinking, we all hate Paris. Why not just rework it into a different type of game mode? Payload maybe?
The Overwatch 2 cinematic takes place in Paris. There was a huge fight with a giant robot. Im sure some people got injured.
Why not make a payload map that runs through the damaged streets of Paris in the aftermath of the Overwatch 2 short. Wouldn’t it be cool to push the payload right through the Overwatch ship that got cut in half?
Maybe you need to deliver a payload of medical supplies to a hospital at the end of the map or something?

These maps sort of play identically for me lol. It’s usually a cheap feeling roll for one side.

I made a same thread, about leavers on this particular map, and got banned for 2 months. I cant play the game because of a comment I made here. Was I reported by so many people or did the company ban me for slander, IDK. It suck they keep these maps we all hate in any base game modes.

I dislike both maps with a burning passion, but if forced to choose, I’d go with HLC. What I don’t like about Paris is the single choke point entrance and defender high ground and that huge concrete sign the supports can hide behind. at least HLC has multiple ways to get through.
Paris is a beautiful map. I love the look, but not the access and spawn points 3 hours away as a defender.

Thank goodness. It is such a pain trying to play on the map. The Defenders get a free win, and the Attackers have to bust their backs to somehow penetrate the defense. Most of the time, especially in QPC, where there’s virtually no comms, it’s impossible.
Paris A is tons better than Anubis A and no worse than Hanamura A for attackers. Paris B is straight out better than Hanamura B because you can approach from all three sides instead of only two. The hate is just a meme made flesh.

Or: opinions differ. I’ve never had much problem with Hanamura or Anubis. Paris is a pain.
