So is there a way I can type stuff and hit send and no one will see it? Like can I request to be permanently silenced? I don’t want to get banned again for being toxic but I can’t help it I’m a toxic person. I don’t mean anything I say, but some of the stuff I say is pretty harsh. But just typing the stuff out and sending it makes me feel better. Doesn’t excuse it and it’s rude, but I mean I’m sorry, I always apologize, but it’s just who I am. I rage. That being said, Is there a way to do that myself? So the only time I need to use chat is in competitive with VC? Any help would be great! (in B4 getting banned for a month or longer for my recent toxic behavior am i rite?)

I’ve already said something mean in a recent game, like really bad, and it dawned on me that it can’t continue. which is one of the reasons i think i’ll already be banned by the end of the week lol. but yah, I hate that i’m still this way, so better have a safeguard yeh?

Queue up with a friend who isn’t easily offended and whisper everything to them.
If the sending of the message is the part that “makes [you] feel better,” then there’s not much you can do about that, since not sending the message would probably fail to satisfy the demon controlling your life.
If something annoys me enough to start typing a message, I press the Escape key. By the sound of it, you’re probably better off disabling all forms of chat except voice and muting your microphone so you can’t talk back.
We need separate enable/disable options for General Chat, Match Chat, Team Chat, Group Chat and the hello/thanks/my ultimate is ready chat.
If someone has a particular chat disabled and tries to type in that chat, the message shouldn’t be able to be sent.
Rocket League has this and it’s amazing, I bet Blizz is more than capable to also implement it.
LOL that’s ridiculous! I think there may be be a way though with using commands into the chat with the / key. I haven’t tested it in a match but if you use /leavechannel on general chat it puts you in a group chat with no one in it
