Wave Broadband connection dropping

I’ve seen a few posts on the forums here about the recurring disconnecting from games for players on certain ISPs. I happen to be one of the unlucky few it seems. OW was probably my favorite game to play until I moved and am now stuck with Wave for the next year or so. I had never had issues with connection previously, but now similar to what others have said the game disconnects me seemingly randomly and it has really ruined the experience of the game. Over the last year and a half I went from playing only overwatch to never playing overwatch because of this issue and it still upsets me. I wanted to post here to see if there was any solution that people had come up with or am I just out of luck? One post I believe I saw from 2020 saying the connection for wave with certain blizzard servers had been resolved, but i guess these weren’t west coast servers. Having watched the network layover during games when disconnects occur it is almost always the LAX1 server which causes the disconnect to occur. I have also done a few winMTR tests one of which is listed below. If there is a solution to this problem I would love to hear it.

Howdy Averty,

It looks like there is some serious packet loss happening between the computer and ISP:

This seems to be related to the problem you are experiencing. There may not be much you can do besides powering off the modem for 30 minutes and updating the firmware. If it persists, this is likely due to something with the routing outside the house or possible some kind of ISP throttling. You would need to contact Wave directly and ask about this packet loss happening so they can investigate.

In the mean time, you may want to try testing another network temporarily like a mobile hotspot which can let you compare the difference.
