Okay so I got off the phone with wave broadband and think you need a full update. I called, confrontationally. I told them they had blocked overwatch, and unblock it or I leave. my exact words where “any future I have is playing this game. So given I joined to play it unblock it or I leave.” I was put on hold. When she came back the exact words where “Yes we blocked it. So did many others. We will not unblock it, that takes up 80% of our data stream and active use. This is the situation, not up for debate. Overwatch is blocked.”
And so yes you are getting another reply, because when they say this people leave. Dev’s have come out and said about as much. They called and asked, I found that out. I was given a rant about money, and how overwatch costs them money. Or how did she put it? Oh right “Leeches are unneeded and overwatch is a leech.”
I am not joking, that happened. Tell me it did not all you like. Truth be told I don’t care. You didn’t call as mad as I did or as confrontational as me. I went in saying don’t try to deny it. I got a strait answer. Just because they changed narrative, does not mean anything. Telling me they did not need my money likely did not help them hiding it. If they denied I was walking away anyways. I am 100% for real with you. Believe it or not, posts limited to 3, and number 3 wont be for you.

But in the off-chance this is a true story… you probably got someone who didn’t care enough about their job and took the opportunity to mess with you. Especially if you called in acting extremely rude or “confrontational”.
The thought of Overwatch taking up 80% of any ISP’s bandwidth was the most comical part.
Anyone else find it strange he is on ever post after solution not before? And he’s defending hard… Well duh overwatch would not take up 80%. It’s clearly an excuse over politics being the reason. Duh. This is not rocket science here, not even conpiracy theory. Oh hey every single game from Blizzard is getting the same issue. I am busy talking other people through abandoning their isp’s over this. I have no time for pay beggers. I am online. others are online.
they all have the same solution. The same solution works in Florida. hmmmmm different place, same solution. The claim was that multiple have. that is adding up. All the puzzle pieces man.

I dont know what you’re on about man. I’m on every post about this issue because it’s outstanding and I’m waiting for a solution. As of right now there is no solution. And I am not defending anything hard.
The issue is likely with the routing table. It could be on the Blizzard side, it could be on the Wave side. Both companies are thus far not doing a great job looking into it and are just passing the customers back and forth. So not defending either for sure.
All I’m saying is your story is either completely fabricated or you pissed off the customer service department at Wave so they decided to mess with you.
I’ll post an “I told you so” once the issue is resolved.
