I am realizing it more and more with the info they have revealed, and I still await my refund approval. Don’t get me wrong, I still love OW1 and loved the two OW2 betas and I will play the heck out of this game. But look at this and decide if the pack is value for you:
- Kiriko is already free going into OW2 if you got the Founders Pack
- Genji’s Mythic Skin is not worth it to you if you do not play this hero
- There will be 5 Legendaries to earn through the Premium Passes (we know Season 1 has a Mercy skin and a Kiriko skin at least - maybe Widow too?) So judge if you value and/or play these heroes much (or will)
- The extra $10 they are tacking on to the price-point of $40 is for getting OW1; a lot of people contemplating this pack already own OW1
- If you already own OW1, this extra $10 is basically getting you 2 Legendaries and a Player Icon: you get 5 Legendaries from a completed Premium $10 Battle Pass (again, unless you really just need every cosmetic for Soldier or Cass… not good, and the skins are just alright IMO)
We also know the passes might not stay at $10 (1000 coins) past the first 3 seasons, but at least we know Season 2’s will be $10 with a new Tank hero.
If you absolutely have to spend money, at least wait to see if you really are interested in the hero/role/etc, and the mythic skin, and if you will have time to complete the premium pass at all. Also, another season may have 5 Legendaries of heroes you absolutely play (a season with Hog, Reaper, Doomfist, Rein) would floor me if they were really good skins.
The pack’s value just seems less and less especially since Kiriko is a gift. They really should’ve chosen another gift. I might’ve felt more compelled to keep my purchase if my free Kiriko from the WP Pack was actually like every non-OW1 owner buying that.

I wish ppl who owned Watchpoint pack had the option of getting the Season Pass or another 1,000 credits, as I’d rather take the 1,000 credits as I am not interested in this pass as the only moira thing IK about is a free voice line LOL 
I’ve been trying to get a refund out of Blizzard for not delivering on value, for years. Don’t hold your breath.

I mean, it’s always very clearly looked like horrible value if you aren’t a new player and/or only want the BPs and not the extra skins.

Honestly the player icon is kind of nice, but I think people on the forums will just get made fun of for using it if they end up posting. 
Speaking of icons, they still haven’t brought the Founders Pack OW icon to the forums, I’ve logged out and in a bunch. It’s awful… but it’s a badge of… something.
I love the mccree skin, soldier is aight.

I have 650ish hours playtime and my least played is 10 hours. So yeah i play everyone.
And we do know what all the battle pass skins will be.

And the teir 1 skin you get instantly upon purchase, D.Va EDM which is my favorite one of the pass. So good.

I have 1,700 hours on OW1 and that’s from may 23, 2016 when not all time was tracked. 72% of my time is 12 heroes and it’s mostly tank. Don’t even think Dva is one lol. Doomfist is though. As DPS.
I have at least 10 hours on all heroes except Ana and maybe 1 or 2 more.
My point exactly. I have significantly less than half of time spend playing OW than you and my least played is more than yours.
Just saying this because if there’s anyone else like me, the watchpoint pack is super worth it.

Blizzard hasnt fixed the issues that broke the game between 2015 and now. At this point, I’ll settle for a single match that has those netcode issues fixed.
Litterally 1 match, and I’d cut my losses and leave. It’s not a lot to ask after 6-7 years, but here we are.
i hope more people realize this they talk bad about other games battlepass especially fortnite when fortnite level 100 skin you able to use it withou worrying anything cuz it just a skin
im expecting people who have mythic genji will use their mythic skin as argument for people to get off genji

Just like before, the only 3 reasons you’d buy the WP pack are:
- You want the 2 exclusive skins
- You wanted access to the second beta
- You wanted to play OW1
In every other scenario it’s much better to buy stuff A La Carte

They’re selling a $10 pass, $20 worth of currency, and 2 skins (historically out of season skins have been $10 each) for $40. Likely $50 value from those items alone.
You make a lot of good points, but they’re not inflating the price with OW1.
It basically comes down to whether or not you like the skins/want the pass.
I guess the only issue I take with the Watchpoint Pack is that it’s 40 while the premium Battle Pass is only 10. So why is it the pack only has season 1 and not 2 as well? If they are giving the option to use coins toward the next season premium tier like in COD, then my post here is irrelevant. But if not then there is missing value there, and the pack comes off more as a Kickstarter to see if they would be willing to do more. Not trying to be negative but looking for understanding.
