Like you know things are sad when that ugly dog Orisa is the max level reward

Raincoat kiri is the only skin I’d call good

Venture’s I equipped just because it’s my only skin for them. It’s still okay at best and would be a never equip on any other hero

Mythic has some cool effects but the base design feels like they tried too hard

Then the rest, I couldn’t even remember anyone else who got anything they were all so forgettable. I checked and I guess Mei’s epic was a bit cute

The hunter BP is the only one that might be worse imo

I thought this one was pretty good overall idk. The worst one was the orisa season lowkey (and i say that as the world’s only orisa mythic defender). I’m sure i can think of another meh one if i look at the list

For me it’s S8. I think “jungle” type themes are hard to sell, mostly because, well, if you’re the type to grind online games, you’re probably not that drawn to the outdoors. Just saying (that’s how it is for me, at least). It’s also just a really rare aesthetic in general - there’s a lot of people online who enjoy cyberpunk, steampunk, gothic, medieval, etc. looks, but… Beast hunters? What would you even call this? Never met someone whose Discord profile had a look like that, is all I’m saying.

Come to think of it, even in Fortnite, I tend to find their “wild” seasons incredibly mid, but I think that’s because usually snipers are in rotation & there’s limited mobility items, which makes that game a snooze-a-thon for me. Just a comparison I noticed.

S8 also had the worst Mythic by a country mile and it isn’t even close. Half the color schemes are pretty bad, and that + the weapon is all you get for customization.

I liked some of the skins, didn’t care for others, pretty much the same as every bpass. But it also had 3 legendary lootboxes, so I got 3 more ow2 shop skins from it. So I got no complaints.

You’re not alone. It’s not my favourite mythic, but it’s till my go to skin for her, I like the yellow animations instead of green for her attacks.

The bp is meh, but the zenyatta mythic is the best in the game, only contender against it is Genji tbh.

Tbh I would say the beast one from last year was the worst one. That was the only battlepass I never bought because literally everything in it was ugly and boring AF

This is one of the worst, but I always get the pass no matter what. I love the game, and I’d feel guilty playing it without supporting it.

On the matter of mythics: I rarely use any of them. Most of them are too much for me. I like the casual and cute stuff.

The Ana & Mercy mythic seasons also honestly didn’t gag me. I literally forget i have the Brigitte mirrorwatch skin lol. They could have done way more with mirrorwatch as a theme (vishkar lifeweaver helloooooo talon v overwatch isn’t the only mirror). Robo Sym and Kiri were pretty good but robo pharah is soooo meh I bet half of you forgot it exists.

To add onto “forgetting it exists,” I saw Wild Tracker Widowmaker in-game for what I’m pretty sure was the first time the other day. I literally didn’t know she got that skin lol

Venture turns a year old next week and has a few very mid skins

Juno was released a few months later and already has multiple intricate skins from two collabs plus current patch.

Blizz knows its audience.

As a Zen main I couldn’t be happier with how hard they went with his Mythic. Totally didn’t expect him to get one as soon as he did. Their try-harding paid off for me.

I thought this was the worst one until you reminded me of Rainy Day Kiriko. That alone makes it better than the omnic one.

Nope, Season 8 was atrocious and so was the theme, along with Orisa’s garbage mythic. Just bad all around. “Super Ultrawatch” or whatever tf the power rangers crap was called was also horrible in theme and skins, but it’s only second worst because Ashe’s mythic was good.

This season, at least the theme is good and some of the skins are good.

“Dokiwatch” will certainly give Ultrawatch a run for its money for the second place spot. Theme sucks and I’m not feeling Juno’s mythic.

This season BP is not the worst, and certainly not the best. Zen’s mythic is decent but not exactly amazing and the BP skins is also decent (Venture finally got an awesome skin and possibly the best skin in the BP).

That title goes to the Season 8. Orisas mythic is bad, almost looks like her legendary Megasoma - Dynastinae skin and the BP skin is uninspiring. The “Call for Hunt” theme itself is terrible to begin with.

No there has been WAY worse BPs in the past. Since they put in Prisms in the BP its one of the only reasons I will get the BP now days.

Love how everyone forgot the atrocious sentai bug themed season ultrawatch because it was THAT bad

Literally nearly every skin in that battle pass was a must skip. Even the mythic. The ONLY saving grace was Hawaiian shirt mauga.

Ugly a** reaper and sojourn bug skins. Final reward was a b-ugly genji skin. Lifeguard Junkrat legendary was pixels off being a recolour of his beachrat skin.

The epics featured an ugly ball and symm skin as well as a recolour of a lucio skin from like 6 yrs prior.

All of the emotes of the heroes doing martial arts not only look dumb but were just copy pasted into victory poses.

For once I am actually glad blizzard didnt make all the skins in the battle pass fit the season theme. Else we may have also had to contend with the bug ana and cass skins being shoved in their as well.

I legit think its the only time the devs have seen the skins and gone ‘nah we cant put all of those in the battle pass’ NOT because they’re so good they would sell better in the store, but because it wouldve tanked the battle pass sales if they hadn’t at least had something decent in there for people to want to buy it.

If it wasnt for the mauga skin and mythic prisms I bet most wouldve skipped the battle pass.

Legit, only positive things I can say about the season are the transformers collab was cool and it gave a lot of people like myself a good reason to save their mythic prisms for once.

Ps: I’m sorry to everyone who reads this for making them remember this season existed after you tried so hard to forget

Thank youuuuuuu. That’s what i’ve been saying too, I don’t know why he doesn’t have that outfit from the cinematic.

Also - shameless plug for Doctor or Nurse Lifeweaver skins. Could make a skin pack called Critical Care and give us Lifeweaver/Illari/Ana in nurse scrubs/uniform, Sigma as a surgeon, Tracer and Mauga as EMT’s.

Anyways…only Mythic that I really wish they would have a redo on is Ashe’s. Her mythic weapon is great but the mythic skin? Looks more Moira related than Ashe.
