Was this crash because of space in my hard drive?

I only have 12gb left in my HDD, and launched Overwatch and joined a Competitive game. An error showed up and Overwatch froze. At first I just closed the window on my taskbar, but the process was still open and my computer was freezing. Then when I went to “details” and tried to close Overwatch.exe in task manager it wouldn’t work. Then I tried to open command prompt (admin) to close the file, but my desktop/taskbar turned black/disappeared.

Is this simply because of my low amount of space in my hard drive, or can this be a virus in my system?

This sounds more like a general lockup, I have been able to run Overwatch with less than 50 megabytes remaining on my storage (don’t ask me how or why :laughing:).
