Maybe it’s just me, but he plays like a reaper with range.
He shreds shields, tanks, squishies and fires so quickly.
Edit: Thanks for the opinions everyone, learning that it’s just a me thing. Gotta learn to play against him better! :]

You do know that he has literally the worst mobility for a dps in the game right?
Like DF can slam down on a target, upper cut them then shoot them twice, then suddenly he can easily charge punch himself away from danger, Hanzo has his storm arrows and his ability to climb walls and double jump away to safety, solider 76 can self heal and has an infinite sprint ability , Reaper can wraith away and teleport if things get messy.
Mc Cree only has a flash and can roll back 5 feet… after that he is a sitting duck for anyone to pick off due to his speed being so slow, so ya him getting a buff to his kit was pretty warranted since ya know he has no escape route.

I wasnt asking for you to defend him, I was just asking if I was alone in the thought he seems over powered.
Clearly the community disagrees and its just me learning to need to play against him

whatever dude lol I was just stating a fact and asking you if you knew he had the worst mobility in the game, seeing if you knew all of the facts of why he got buffed , but whatever man lol
I mean, if you look at objective stats, his winrate is absolutely awful, and that’s not for a lack of pickrate. People think he’s fun to play. He’s just not that effective a lot of the time.

He has zerio mobility zero survability he need a lot more power
Mcree does 20 damage at long range that s stupidely low
Mcree should kill any 200 hp with 2 head shots
His roll is over 20 feet and add another 20 for his flashbang range. He can out duel most squishies if the Mcree can land the flashbang consistently. Maybe not OP against a coordinated team, but he is OP in deathmatch modes.

I hardly think he can shred shields and tanks. Sure, yeah, maybe tank if tank gets in his close range, almost on half health and is being flashed by McRee and shredded by right mouse click ability.
i dont think that he is mega broken but he is overpowered and he help to create powercreep…
he is good pick against reaper, doomfist, mei , pharha , shields, tanks, flankers, dive heros…
why we will pick another dps? the only reason is that hanzo is broken and mei is still to opressive.
