Just did it with my friend and two randoms. Torb, Hanzo, Soldier, Brig.
Cleared easily. Barely any death. Normal. Hard. Legendary. Back to back, no stress.
It felt a lot easier. That, or maybe this year I had people working with me. I have no idea.
Well the full cast (plus some new ones) is available in the standard mode now and are kinda overpowered for it, and Torbjorn’s new ult just destroys the bosses since they don’t seem to actively try to get out of the goop.
Maybe If The freakin’ Bride was actually in the mode, disabling your teams abilities, that would maybe have shook things up a bit.
I feel like with Newborjn alone it would be possible to Duo it at the least.

I think I’d heard a while ago they were gonna make it easier. Personally I had trouble with Hard last year and I’d considered myself a fairly competent shooter. I never even tried anything higher because I knew it would’ve been useless.
Same. The combo of Torb, Zen, Brig, Hanzo got me every achievement in a matter of minutes.

You got better, slowly over time you’ve gotten better, also all 4 of the heroes have had buffs since last time.

OP shield gen is gone, this the first change that made it significantly easier this time around. The second thing is torbs rework. His new ult allows you to completely block the door from enemies. I tried non stop last year to do expert endless 4 bonus waves and got it first try this time around thanks to these changes.
EDIT: I forgot to mention that sym no longer auto locks to you either. Honestly most of what made it hard last year was just sym. Her second rework made her a lot more manageable.

Symmetra certainly got nerfed. I wasn’t expecting them to upgrade her to Sym 3.0. This now means she can’t autolock to damage you and her photon barrier is there for the sake of throwing off Widowmaker and turrets.
