First I thought only she was the problem but then the Dev Team nerfed Lucio and Zen.
I was like okay maybe it’s true and they deserved this? But why did Brig get 0 nerfs? Especially when she has such a high Pickrate in OWL.
Then I saw the Video of Your Overwatch and they think as well that she needs more nerfs.
Well and I think she needs a Rework and Dva more nerfs so we can finally get our DPS in OWL back. I want DAFRAN on Soldier!
Dont he play Torbjorn tho? Also Briggy got 11 continous nerfs since her release and is deemed bad outside Goats by his hollines Jeff himself.
Also I dont trust reworks they tend to be fauilters in long run.
The devs are nerfing all the synergistic qualities of GOATS. While also adding some interesting quality buffs to their counters. Don’t forget they are also introducing a new hero that strongly enables a bunker comp that (as we’ve seen tested on the PTR) does exceptionally well in destroying GOAT comps.
I think we need to wait and see what the next patch does before we suggest anything. We need to be patient.
I think Blizzard is actually doing good with the next patch.
Despite what people think GOATs is not the result of one hero being overturned. It’s a perfect storm of bull**** that is so powerful that multiple fronts need to be dealt with to stop it being the only viable meta, which is exactly what Blizz is doing.
We’ve also seen once again that not all the devs are of the same mindset, with Jeff and Geoff giving two different viewpoints on where Brigitte stands currently
Sym and Hanzo and Torn Rework are all way better than the old one! Just wished Sym could build her TP a tad bit faster.
YES he played Torb one or Two Maps? Haven’t watch the last 2 Games so I’m not sure.
Lucio enables goats, not brig my dear. Give Lucio a gutting from the inside and goats is no more.
Once more, there is no one hero responsible for GOATS, it’s multiple things coming together that just fit terrifyingly well together
Rally could do with some minor buffs like reloading allies’ guns on activation.

It’s true that Speedboost is intergral to the Comp, but it’s only one part of a larger array of problems.
1- Tanks have an impressive damage output themselves, paired with their large HP pools they are difficult to take down quickly
2- Speedboost DOES eliminate the Tank Weakness of being slow, I will grant you
3- Brigitte and Lucio have a combined HoT effect of 32 HPS with Inspire and Healing Aura, paired with a main healer it’s almost impossible to chew through that health
4- Rally just goes to further increase a Tank’s defensive and staying power
There are multiple things that makes GOATS strong, but nerfing just one hero isn’t going to fix it
Well Symm had 2 reworks and it just made her drop pick and win rates.
Hanzo and Torb became better and are for now only exception from rule. Althou still attack Torb on ladder is bit iffy. Rustle feathers for some people if you will.

90% its on the healing because aoe healing is needed for goats to work, thats the real glue, speed boost is just a bonus. they can even disable speed boost and lucio will still be picked with goats.
Lucio has been in the game since launch, so clearly, if he’s the cause, Goats would have been the pro meta since launch. Right? But no.
He helps, but it was caused by Brig. It started after her, and while every hero in goats is an important part of it, Brig is the cause. Every other hero in zen goats is a launch hero. If she’s not the cause, explain why goats didn’t become powerful in the nearly 2 years the game existed without her.
Her kit is an overloaded joke, and even in a nerfed state she still counters heroes that rely on mobility just by existing. She doesn’t need nerfs, she needs to be removed and completely reworked into a new hero, with every almost every ability changed. She’s a masterclass in how not to design a multiplayer hero, other devs should put posters of her around their offices as a reminder not to completely balls up your game.
Brig is a square peg in a round hole. She just doesn’t fit in this game and will always be either oppressive or garbage with no in between.
Rework or delete, I don’t care which.
