“Warning Long Wait To Find Fair Match”

Every time I see this message I know the game it finds is gonna be a horrible loss. Why? Because it always is. If I don’t see the message I usually have wins like no tomorrow and the games are great with great teammates and then all of a sudden that warning message pops up every game after the great ones and then the games become horrible and clearly one sided and not fair in anyway at all. Usually throws me with 4 healer mains who haven’t touched tank/dps or 4 DPS mains who haven’t touched tank/healer and so on. So I’m curious as to what exactly the matchmaker is finding “Fair” in any of these matches. Because they go just fine before that message comes up

It usually means an easy win when i see it. Between 4am to7 i get this message.
Unless we get throwers its a stomp

maybe its a horrible loss because you are part of the team

Whenever I see this message I usually find a game three seconds later. :man_shrugging: Well, it does say ‘expected’ I guess.

It’s not an indicator, it’s confirmation bias and possibly a bit of self-fulfilling prophecy.

Happened to always see that message back when I was active. But sometimes we actually won. Sometimes even fast. Sometimes even because I somehow was killing it. Ah, the glimmering hopes that insta-faded after the next round to remind me of being a member of “loss incarnate” caste. XDD

Well when ur mercy and the only one on fire on ur team and only one nominated and u didn’t even pull out ur pistol would say other wise but yes :slight_smile: doesn’t happen every game but most the time I’m nominated so eh

I always see that message. It doesn’t mean anything.

I know the message doesn’t mean anything I never said it did. I’m just saying whenever that message pops up I’m expecting a loss cuz it usually is.

I see that about 75% of the time I queue. My win rate this season is around 50%. I am not getting a “horrible loss” every time I see it. Maybe you’re letting it get inside your head and you’re expecting a loss so it happens?
