To those of you who care about Endorsement Rank/Level.
So, I just learned after leaving a round of QuickPlay that your Endorsement level drops if you leave rounds. I ranked up to 4 Endorsement level today & left one round earlier due to RL happenings. The second round I left, because the team I was on was toxic from the get-go, and when I re-entered QuickPlay it put me BACK into that same round with that same group of people… I quit. And de-ranked from level 4 Endorsement to level 3. I read the patch notes the day it was implemented, but I do not recall any mention of this ‘punishment system’… It’s bad enough the hit you take in Competitive for leaving a bad round or if something actually requires you to leave the game IRL, why punish people in QuickPlay too? Just seems, not cool.

Dont leave is the moral. Doesnt matter if its quick play or not. Granted situation happen but leaving 1 game doesnt bring you down. Personally I want to keep this sort of penalty. People dont like it play arcade then where it doesnt matter

No matter the reason for it, you still left, which is a ‘bad’ thing. You don’t get to keep your gold star stickers when you do bad things.

You’re late to the party, my friend. This is known. Leaving any active game will lower your endorsement. It was also implemented as a way to stop people from constantly bailing on their teams outside of them DC’ing or having to quickly leave for RL reasons.

It is as pointless of a punishment as endorsements are a reward.

It doesn’t matter in QuickPlay either. Players shouldn’t be punished for leaving a game where they are being harassed or other users are being toxic to the extreme.
@Shade I don’t see how its bad to leave a game of QuickPlay or why customers should be punished for it. Its not like it is competitive.
I have only quit 3 games since I ranked up. It’s not common I quit out of games. So the system doesn’t seem very forgiving.

Nah it’s not pointless. If having a high endorsement level means you’re not a leaver then it’s great and ill be keeping my LFG threshold at 2 at the minimum

Endorsements to show you’re a good citizen with good sportsmanship. A good sportsman doesn’t drop their team, even when things get tough.
Mute, block. avoid and report someone being toxic.

It does matter in quick play whether you think it does or not. But just 3 leaves is a bit harsh. Use LFG and get good groups. Been having the most fun since beta

Decent idea. Blizzard’s first good idea in a long time. An endorsement system that drops when you leave so ultimately it’ll make people who are nice and stuff have a high endorsement rating and those who arent good have a naturally low endorsement rating.

Why exactly does it matter in QuickPlay?

because quick play is part of the game

Its not comp though. So why does it matter?
I left a comp game with a leaver after those 2 minutes, still lost my endorsement level

Then you shouldn’t be allowed to get endorsed in a quick play game either if you can’t lose it for ‘misbehavior’.
It’s viewed as ‘bad’ because you potentially abandon your team to an unfair match. Abandoning even casual matches isn’t to be encouraged. That’s why there’s a penalty as well.

Stop making people join in as backfill. That too is just as annoying as someone leaving a game.
Many have been asking to stop backfill. This is one method of bringing leavers to think twice about leaving.

Leaving because of RL issues is now ‘misbehavior’? Or not tolerating abuse from your team? #2018

It still matters, since it’s part of the game. Either quickplay or comp it all still matters and please stop leaving games.

Because I still like to have good games in quick play and practice for comp. There is a reason arcade doesnt have endorsements. It’s the mode that doesnt matter. Play that mode of your not up to trying

Then your irl issues were more important than your endorsement level… so why are you on the forums complaining about it?
