Warhammer Darktide is the OW2 PvE replacement

This game is genuinely incredibly fun and fills that void ow2 left with the complete betrayal of them going back on their PvE plans for customisable characters and abilities etc in a PvE setting. What’s more is this game is completely free to play. I understand it’s been out for about a year but it’s only recently just released on XBOX, hence why I’ve only just started playing it now.

But yeah if you are dissatisfied with the lack of effort bej g put towards the PvE content for ow2, go try this game out for at least one game night with a few friends.

If anything Darktide went down the OW2 road when it launched. Very limited content, broken netcode, bugs after bugs after bugs. That’s why it got butchered on Steam and every user review website.

Unlike OW2, Fatshark’s been trying to make good on what it should be, especially after Vermintide 2.

Not wrong but the devs did the same on vermintide 1 and 2 but kept expanding on it on till it is good and it has already been improved a lot might still be a bit to go though.

I still play Left 4 Dead 2 when I’m in the mood for PVE lol.

Valve needs to hurry up and create L4D3 though with our luck it will end up as an Index VR exclusive

Unoptimised. Enjoy fps drops ranging from 100+ to 40- on high end rigs.

You know what, Nine. You sold me, I’m gonna go buy Darktide. After my last day of games, Overwatch is just sad.

They should buy fatshark and let them do OW2 pve then i came to know Tencent brought them. Yipee.

Best part is it’s free to play

I don’t know if it’s free on game pass or something then because I haven’t spent anything on it

Where are you even getting this?
it is literally discounted to 26 bucks on Steam right now. It is not the same as 40 bucks but surely isn’t “free”.

Fair enough. It is just kinda misleading considering when there are pve games that are actually free without any subscription required.

Man I forgot just how many games are on game pass. I’m dowloading Gotham Knights (yeah I know it sucks), Darktide, Exoprimal (forgot all about this one), Outer Worlds and Gears Tactics :slight_smile:

Also if you want a hero shooter that’s much more accomodating for all play styles, I advise all of you to check out Shatterline. Its free to play and has a roguelike PvE mode and a PvP mode for the competitive.
